Founded in August 2023, ChessMate Club & School ♞ was born out of a passion for excellence in chess education and a mission to guide players toward mastery with clarity, care, and precision.
We are an international online chess academy led by IM Armen Barseghyan, a European Chess Champion and seasoned International Master. With over 15 years of playing and coaching experience, Armen’s unique methods combine strategic depth, psychological insight, and structured training to help students grow — not just as players, but as thinkers.
